Meet Muse Li

She is a Canadian artist based in Toronto.

Her practice emerges from a state of “In the dusk” — a moment suspended between clarity and stillness, where reason softens and inner awareness begins to surface. This liminal space forms the conceptual core of her work, shaping an abstract language rooted in introspection and feminine consciousness.

She holds a double major in Human Resource & Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto, where her studies fostered a sustained sensitivity to individuals navigating emotional, social, and structural frameworks. She later pursued Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design, developing a refined understanding of form, structure, materiality, and the body.

Bridging social inquiry and visual discipline, her abstract paintings are not representations of objects, but reconstructions of psychological and emotional states. Through layered compositions, restrained gestures, and nuanced color fields, her work unfolds as a quiet yet resolute inner dialogue — one that reflects solitude, resilience, and self-illumination.

Her practice centers on feminine awareness, inner order, and emotional restoration, seeking moments of clarity within the softened thresholds of dusk.
